Alaska is full of businesses that have been built patiently, by hand, over decades. Our mission is to tell those stories properly — with real interviews, on-site filming, and enough care to make them worth keeping.

Alaska Spotlight is an Alaska-based media and video production company. We create documentary-style features about local businesses — the contractors, mechanics, plumbers, roofers, service companies, and real estate agents, teams, and brokerages whose reputations were built one job and one client at a time.
Each feature is a real production: on-site filming with your team, interviews with the people behind the work, and a finished film that shows customers who they're actually hiring.
We're a newly launching company. We're not going to tell you about awards we haven't won or clients we haven't filmed. What we can promise is a careful, honest process and a finished piece of work you'll be glad exists.

Clear about what this is
Alaska Spotlight features are paid work. Businesses commission a feature, and the content is presented as sponsored where that applies. We think that's the honest way to do it — and it's why the films can stay editorial rather than turning into advertisements.
We do not manage clients' social media accounts. You receive finished videos plus agreed commercial usage rights, and Alaska Spotlight may distribute approved sponsored features through its own company channels.
