Privacy

What we collect, and what we never publish.

This page explains exactly what happens to the information you send us through this website, and what stays private.

What the inquiry form collects

When you send an inquiry through this website, we ask for your business name, your name, an email address, a phone number, and optionally your website. We also ask for your industry, where in Alaska you are based, the package you are considering, a preferred filming date and an optional alternative date, a short description of your business, and any filming requirements you want us to know about.

Every field marked with an asterisk is required to process the inquiry. Everything else is optional, and you can leave the form at any time without sending anything.

Why we use that information

We use your inquiry only to respond to you, discuss packages and availability, plan filming, prepare a production agreement and invoices, and coordinate and deliver finished video work.

We do not use inquiry details for advertising, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who can see it

Inquiries are stored in a private, access-controlled business system used by Alaska Spotlight. Only Alaska Spotlight administrators signed in to that system can open an inquiry, client, project, payment, or deliverable record.

Client records, agreements, invoice and payment details, internal notes, and unfinished work are never published on this website.

Published business features

When a feature is published, only the details the business has approved for publication appear on the feature page: the business name, industry, city or region, a description, a summary of the interview, services offered, an approved website link, approved contact details, the film, and any related short videos.

Nothing is published until the business has approved the final film and the public wording. If a feature is unpublished, its public page stops showing that content and it is removed from the library.

Files and payments

This website does not collect or store payment card details. Payments for production work are recorded directly by Alaska Spotlight, and any card or bank transaction happens outside this website.

Final files are shared through unique delivery links. A link only releases files once the remaining balance is recorded as verified and paid, and the download link itself is temporary.

Cookies and tracking

The inquiry form does not use cookies. Signing in to the private business system uses a secure session so your account stays signed in.

We do not run advertising pixels or third-party advertising trackers on this website.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and project records while we are working together and afterwards for as long as we need them for normal business and accounting records.

You can ask us to correct or delete the information you sent us, and we will do so unless we are required to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form and mention that your message is about privacy, and we will reply with what we can do.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle inquiry information changes, this page will be updated. This policy describes this website as it operates today.

Questions about your information?

Send a note through the contact form and tell us your message is about privacy. We will reply from the same address we use for production work.
